Computer Ink Refill

This procedure is very simple and basic. You just need to be aware of compatibility issues as well as different brands, computers and printers. If you are not sure about something or experiencing technical difficulties, go on the internet and search your particular printer brand’s website. Check for a 1-800 number for free technical assistance or an email address for their customer service.

Before buying computer ink make sure that you buy cartridges that are the same brand as your printer as well as compatible with your printer. Do not, and I repeat, do not use generic brand cartridges, regardless of what those salespeople at the store counter tell you. Different brands from your printer or generic brand cartridges will mess up your printer and cause it to malfunction. The printer will not be able to print anything. When your arrive home, read all the instructions that came with the cartridges. Review your printer instructions that came with your printer, as well. Make sure you are familiar with all the buttons, lights, flaps, and other instructions on your printer before proceeding.

1. Open the flap where the cartridges are located, and take out the old cartridges. NOTICE: All computer inks are different. Some use four cartridges, some use two cartridges, and still other will vary with their own ways and needs. Read yourprinter instructions to be aware of the organization and location of certain areas of the printer.
2. Replace the old cartridges, with the fresh and new cartridges, in the same place and in the same way that the old ink cartridges were placed, making sure that the colored ink cartridge is placed in the area for the colored inkcartridge, and the black and white cartridge is placed in the area for the black and white cartridge. Make sure it is placed firmly inside its specific area.
3. Close flap tightly and turn on your printer.
4. Place a sheet of paper inside the tray, making sure it is properly aligned inside the tray.
5. Go to your computer screen and click on your printer icon. Check for compatibility and specific needs, and fix as needed.
6. Select print for one sheet and press the print button to test the ink.
7. The printer will print a sheet. If you had performed these steps correctly, you will get a crisp and warm piece of paper with clear colors and black ink, dark and bright, with clean lines.
